Digital art
Now a days, you can take your career pretty far with digital art. If you just Google "digital art" you'll see page after page of websites that display a lot of different types of art. One site, http://dam-berlin.de/, is pretty cool in that they show pictures, animations, installations, and more. Digital art is becoming more and more popular and it makes me curious as to where that leaves other art forms? Is digital art going to replace photography or painting? If people can just sit at a computer and make something that looks like they spent days standing at a canvas, will that eventually stop painting all together? It's interesting to think about other art forms ceasing to exist, but with the rise of the digital world I guess you never know what could happen in the future.

Nigh scenes
Now that I know what goes into Photoshopping images, it's pretty amazing to think that you can transform everyday objects and scenes into pieces of art. These are 100 pictures of night scenes that haven't been Photoshopped, but are just as beautiful nonetheless...

20 great digital drawings
Here's a cool site with digital drawings...

I'm not exactly sure how to go about making digital drawings, but it's like anything we've learned to do in the class, I can imagine how difficult these would be to do.

X's and O's
Ever think about how far you could go creatively using just x's and o's? One art school put it to the test...

The ideas that people come up with are really cool and I think it would be a fun experiment to give a class.

Symmetric drawing
I was on StumbleUpon today and came across this video...
It's an artist who draws symmetrically on both sides of a paper. It's not the best quality, but the process is pretty cool and I think you could make some really interesting pictures this way. I'm sure you could create very similar works that he's making by using that tool on Sumo Paint and making whole pictures.

Marshmallow Motion
I finished my video today in class and put it on YouTube. I like it how it came out, but for some reason there's about 30 extra seconds of music at the end that I'll have to figure out how to get rid of.
